MG Motor wanted to boost visits to its vehicle pages by energizing its display campaigns on the Google Display Network (GDN). The main goal was to drive more traffic using messaging focused on two types of pricing (fixed prices and leasing) and event-based promotions like Open House Days.
Another key challenge was streamlining the creative process while reducing reliance on their creative agency. To achieve this, they implemented a flexible solution by integrating dynamic data into their ads.
To meet MG Motor’ needs, ADventori implemented a system based on two dynamic meta-templates, powered by a shared spreadsheet that the client could update directly. The process was structured around two key steps:
Setting Up Dynamic Templates
Two ad template structures were designed to accommodate MG Motors’ creative variations. Both templates allowed for seamless integration of Open House Day (JPO) messaging when needed.
Generating Creative Variants
Using the data entered in the shared spreadsheet, creative combinations were automatically generated—resulting in 48 unique ad variations to date. Once created, these variations were directly imported into Google Ads for distribution across the GDN network.
The dynamic elements included: model-specific text, CTA, legal disclaimers, JPO messages, and pricing details (fixed or leasing).
